NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

In our society, mental illness is treated with a negative stigma and misconceptions, and it needs to stop. We are all guilty of caring for those with physical illness completely different than those with mental illness.

The campaign posters created for NAMI are intended to reach people of all ages and walks of life. The specific demographic of focus are young adults as they are mature enough, and are at the age where they can help younger generations understand this concept moving forward. These posters are to be hung in an area where there is an emphasis on well being, such as hospitals, schools, pharmacies and the work place. The bold copy and bright colors are intended to capture peoples attention and stress the importance of the issue.
